Last month, I had the privilege of delivering a keynote to 60 CEOs of engineering firms at the DPC (ACEC Coalition) meeting in Colorado Springs.
My talk was on A.I. and its disruptive impact on each phase of the building process. I’m excited to share the recording with you below.
As a second generation civil engineer, I carry a large amount of respect for the profession and those who choose to work in the field. I prepared my talk to highlight the relevant history of A.I., clarify confusing terminology, showcase already practical applications in our space (some that we’ve funded), and offer a warning of the disruption to come.
Engineering at its core is pure computation. That so happens to be what A.I. is world class at.
